Current Goal

To visit the locations listed below and get picture-proof whenever possible. Cachers achieving these goals with pictures will be entered into Apollo's Hall of Fame. While most of the sites below require admission, pictures taken outside of the facilities will suffice. Besides the goals, mission control appreciates all quality travels as well!

This lander is a a Corgi diecast Lunar Lander. I use only high quality items for my TBs but I run the risk of having them stolen by cachers which unbelievably has happened (like this: A CC TB Stolen by Cachers or this And another! ). Please don't do this so others can enjoy the fun and so you can sleep at night.

Mission Control Goals

  • Have pictures taken with Lunar Lander at Mandell Center, Philadelphia, PA (it's outside in a non-admission area... in fact I got a picture of it, check this: CoolCache with "Major Tom" in Philly)
  • Visit Langley NASA Research Center, Hampton, VA (pictures with any spacecraft there would be a bonus!)
  • Visit Kennedy Space Center, FL (pictures with LM-9 not necessary but another bonus!)
    • Visit the Cradle of Aviation Museum, Long Island, NY (pictures with LM-13 there>>> a bonus!)
  • Visit Chabot Space and Science Center, Oakland, CA (pictures with Lunar Lander simulator there>>> bonus!)
    • Visit Houston Space Center, Houston, TX (pictures with Lego LL not necessary but a bonus!)

    "Apollo 13" replaces my original TB on this tag, "Little Fire Engine" which was lost in Ireland. I only found this out with research. If you find him pls do not travel or log him... he's done. Here's hoping for better luck for Apollo!

    What a GREAT TB. I love all the space stuff and was really familiar with the Apollo 13 mission before the movie. I think I'll see if I can take this to the NASA Lewis Research Center in Cleveland and get a picture.
