This is no ordinary cow; this is Bandit, the Mad Cow! He's in trouble with the authorities and needs to get out of the area as soon as possible. If you can, please take him across a border; if you can't, get him as close to one as possible so someone else can. He prefers places to which he hasn't been before, as the authorities there don't know him yet. If you are able to, take a picture of him by the local police station so we can see whom he's gotten away from.
Bandit escaped from the custody of the Cornell Police on May 24, 2005. He was aided and comforted by Greg of the Cornell Acacia team. Now Bandit is on the run, and Greg is watching him closely to make sure he's OK. Please make sure to keep bandit in your sight, and try to log frequent notes with pictures so Greg can keep up.

Bandit and I had a good time together, but had to send him on his way after some loses at the casino. Hoping someone can take him over the bridge to Canada soon. He is so close...over the river... I will soon have a couple photos of Mad Cow that I took. You will see how close he got the the bridge...

Found Bandit wandering the trail...felt sorry for him...and since Adkdragon and I were leaving the next day for home we offered Bandit a ride. We didn't realizehow much trouble he was in until we left. Will hide him out for a short while and at least get him closer to the Canadian border. I'm a little worried when he showed some interest in visiting the Awkesasne Mohawk Casino and playing some poker... we'll see.

After a quick visit to his home at Home Dairy Alley, Bandit was nabbed by the Ithaca Police Department, who took him to the Hall of Justice. The sheriff was called; however, due to the fact that said Hall was so poorly located and marked, he was unable to find it, and in the meantime, Bandit escaped! He was chased valiantly, but he dove through a road block, foiling the IPD. No longer actively on the run, he visited Taughannock Falls and decided to stay for a bit.
