I was just checking though my bag and I found a stowaway 🙂
Must admit I don't remember picking this little fella up a few weeks ago, but there it was. Safe and sound in a pouch on the back 😁
Down Under Koala has been with me to every cache I've visited since I picked him up many weeks ago at the William Pedler cache... and that's quite a few caches !!
Now I know he's around I can either drop him near a gum tree nearby or have him in Canberra in about 2 or 3 weeks time... any suggestions Iowa Tom ?

DOWN UNDER KOALA here with my lastest update:
OH Wow! I have just had the most amazing day! No 1 I have actually met and spoken too two real koalas, not that I'm not real you understand...but you know what I mean! ...oh and kangaroos!!

No 2. Now Tom you are not going to believe this but........
The Silver Snitch has made a whole cache up in my honour in South Australia!!! Yes me!! and guess what they called it?.... Cuddle a Koala! Now you will never guess the theme of the cache?......Koalas!
AND I get to be the very first travel bug in it and I'm a koala too.........Oh can life be any more exciting? Well now if I can just meet a few more Aussie animals and reach Canberra.....

  • Mother Kangaro and Joey Here I am chatting to the Joey,(baby Kangaroo) in his mummy's pouch!
  • Trying to hitch a ride! I asked if I could hitch a ride to Canberra, but Mother Kangaroo has decided to raise her joey in the Gorge Wildlife Park. If they had been going that way they said I would be more than welcome to hitch a ride!
  • Sharing Lunch with a Koala! My first meeting with a real Koala, not that I'm not real, but you understand! She was so soft and friendly and she even shared her lunch with me. MMMMMMMMM MMMMMMMM those Eucalyptus, (gum), leaves are Yummy!
  • I met not one, but TWO Koalas! How lucky am I? I got to meet not one but TWO Koalas!
After this it was into the geo cache CUDDLE A KOALA created especially for me by the Silver Snitch!!

Off I go again on my way quest to the ACT.(Australian Capital Territory) and the capital city of Australia. But I think I might try to see if I can meet a real koala or two.
