My mission is to visit as many steam railways and trains as possible.

About This Item

This coin was given to my son John on his 11th christmas, 2007.
He is train mad and would like photos of his coin visiting train related places, he prefers steam but anything to keep him moving.
The coin series was released to help raise funds for the Severn Valley Railway which suffered huge damage during the July floods that devastated many parts of the UK.

    Placed the GC under the train track just as we heard train pass overhead. Tried to get phone out to take picture but it was too late. But suddenly one came the other way too and I tried to take a picture but phone camera too slow! We walked on further and heard another train go by so I got phone ready for the one going the other way and waited. Just managed to get picture in the distance!
