Current Goal

Hewitt is a school project for my third grade son's class at Hewitt Trussville Elementary School, Home of the Huskies. Hewitt would like to get as much travel as possible, and his progress will be tracked by the class on a chart. As the school year end approaches, Hewitt would like to return and tell about his adventures.

About This Item

Hewitt Trussville School is the pride of Trussville, Alabama, a small community east of Birmingham. Hewitt Husky is a representative of the school for the class. As the school year ends, I would like to get him mailed back to us so he can be presented proudly to the entire school to detail his travels. Place him quickly from cache to cache and lets see how many places he can go. Take your photo with him and we will present it on the project as well. Go Hewitt!

Hewitt Husky has had a great trip!! Looks like he's been on the road for several years. I picked him up from a beautiful wooded area in Fairfax County, Virginia.

Coincidentally, within two hours of picking up this husky, I was followed by a lost German shephard, "Shasha," lost in a sudden thunderstorm after having escaped from his house. We put him in our car and drove to the front of his house, miles away, and awaited his owner whom we had traced through his veterinarian (dog's collar), and saw to in that owner and dog were reunitied. Who knows whether or not this was something from the Outer Limits. ;)
