About This Item

Nomad has a destiny to fulfill. It may not travel often, but when it does, it will become one with awesome places of power.

Unfortunately, Space Priate Harrison has caused Nomad to walk the plank. He took Nomad and never allowed him to continue on his journey. 'Pirate' is certainly a good description. Your only path to redemption is to set him free so that he may continue to journey the world and enlighten us along the way.

We couldn''''''''t resist the lure of a TB so as soon as Dave got home from work, off we went (this is Monday 14th but the website insists it is still Sunday). There was a sculptor still at work at the site and various other people wandered by (and a dark car sat there for ages then departed without anyone getting out - a frustrated fellow Geocacher?)so it took a while. Nomad is now getting warm in front of the fire before setting off again on his perambulations.

In typical BaldEd style, the cache that contained Nomad took a bit of sweat to get to, but the lure of a Travel Bug was to much for us to pass by 🙂
We will have to place it in another 'awesome place of power'

After hanging from the mirror of the landrover for nearly a month (oops sorry for the delay)

It he she has been to work with me each day, has done a trip with the Canterbury Landrover Club up the upper reaches of the Ashburton River. The rivers were rising due to rain in the high country so the afternoon was spent traveling from the main road bridge on State Highway 1 down the Selwyn river to Coes Ford.

At Easter 2003 it he she travelled from Christchurch to Kaikoura for the night then on to Omaka Airport Blenheim to watch the WW1 air display.

A fantastic sight to see 5 Fokker Dr.1 in the air Lead by the Red Baron von Richthoven in aerobatics over the airfield.
Also on display were a Sopwith Camel, Bristol 2b, Nieuport 24, and Pfalz D.111 used in the Movie The Blue Max
P40 kittyhawks,P51D Mustang, PBY5 Catalina, C47 Dakota, NA Harvards to nention a few from WW2
