About This Item

Crash and Burn

This is a Personal Computer Memory Card International Association (PCMCIA) Hard Disk Drive (HDD) with the cover taken off. I placed a plastic cover over the top of the drive so that you can see the internal components. This HDD is actually rotating media. The platters you see inside spin at upwards of 4200 revoltions per minute (depending on the platter density) and can have a capacity of up to 5 GB. The arm moves from side to side accessing different parts of the platter while reading the data stored or writing new data on these metal platters.

For some reason, the TB was showing up in my cache page listing for Waterside Windsor GCZC1T, but the TB page shows it being held by a cacher. I have never seen that happen before.
The TB was reported as missing from my cache by the last cacher. Given the size of the cache, it is impossible that the TB could have ever been left there. I doubt it is really missing, but this is the only way I have to remove it from my cache page. Sorry for any inconvenience. As you can see from the TB page, it appears that witchypoo300 still has the TB. Perhaps you could contact them for more information on the TB.
