Current Goal

”The travelling Dane” is a little, happy Danish guardsman, who wants to travel around the World and show his flag, the Danish national flag “Dannebrog”.

So please take him, if you are travelling to another country - and if not, then take him anyway; he likes to visit other caches too .

No matter where he comes, he brings love and greetings from Copenhagen/Denmark. And he would love to send a greeting home to his owners – if possible, with a picture of the place where he is at this moment.

And it would be so nice, if the picture also showed the flag from the country he is in - or perhaps something speciel from the town og city, he stays in.

About This Item

The travelling Dane

He starts his journey in Denmark, from the first cache – Burning Moor – we established here, near to our home.

We DID take him to Paris this spring - but in Paris we only found micro-caches, so he is back in Denmark. But for how long?

Hmm it would appear that I got interrupted when logging my caches of the day and forgot to log this poor TB. Anyhow, he is safe and well, have taken some photos, and will drop him off further north (AB or BC side, not sure yet) depending on where they send me to work / caches I find. (Thanks PDOP for the reminder.)

I must add that this is by far the most interesting TB I've intercepted yet - the Dane has such a travelling history!

  • The Dane visiting Alberta's Pump Jacks
  • The Dane @ 12 ft Davis' grave Checking out the scenery of the Peace River at The Mighty Peace cache. Twelve foot Davis scored big when he mined the tiny plot of land they given to him.

Den TB nach Frankreich gebracht. Zugegeben nur ein paar Meter hinter die ehemalige Landesgrenze, aber immerhin.
