I won this coin at Mad Cat's CACHE THE BUCKET / JASPER COUNTY MEET AND GREET event in Ridgeland, South Carolina. Thanks Mad Cat.

This coin was named "The Mother of All Racing Coins." However, the name was chanced after the end of the race. >br>
Well, the race is over. Sadly, The Mother of all Racing Coins did not win. But, this coin went on a great adventure and visited many great places thanks to a great bunch of cachers that shared the journey. The official race is over. But, this coin still wants to travel and spend lots of time with other mothers.
Final standing in the race:
98th place (out of 149 coins) for total miles. This coin had a total of 811.1 miles. The 1st place coin had a total of 26977.5 miles.

On Mother's Day, we passed the coin around for all of the mothers to see, and then we trekked into the freshly rained-on jungle to deposit this coin into the Bethabara Children's Cache.

Wow, Mom will love seeing this (OK, actually, she'll just feign interest because I'm her son). Since I'll be spending Mother's Day with several moms, I'll pass this around the room... and then I'll spend the next hour explaining why I run around the woods, collecting ticks and Happy Meal toys.

At this point it is going to be very difficult for my little coin to win for milage. But, it can still win for visiting the most geocaches. So, even if you can't take it far, please pick it up and drop it off in another geocache. There is still time to win.

Wow, from the stats page, I see that the competition for mileage is pretty stiff. So maybe the local TB hotel (near the airport) would not be the best place for the next drop.
By the way, my five year old daughter wanted to (1) keep it for herself (2) keep it until Mother's Day to give to Mrs rot13. I'll try to explain to her how the race works so she'll be happy to move it on its way.
