Austin Healeys were built in England in the 1960's, and is the perfect car for leisurely Sunday drives. This Healey wants to visit it's birthplace, and then travel on to scenic spots, carrying with it the spirit of a man who loved and admired their classic design, and distinct roar of their engine.
Our Dad Bob spent many years restoring his 1963 Mark III Austin Healey to it's original mint condition, working on it even as he battled cancer...At his funeral in May, 2007 six Healey's, including his own, led the procession to the cemetary as a testament to his love and commitment to this beautiful car. As Bob moves on to his final adventure, we are releasing Healeys in his honor and memory, so that others can enjoy the story of the car and the man who loved them.

This Healey's journey has begun in my sister's first cache (Baileybug) in Clearwater. Today is the first anniversary of our and our parents (Jag Gator) caching addiction. Although Dad wasn't able to cache for very long, he really enjoyed it, and was particularly proud of himself when he could beat his grandsons (8 and 4) to the find. Godspeed little Healey!
