Team Canada 81

This is a mini-replica Team Canada hockey jersey worn in the 1981 Canada Cup series. The team featured a young Wayne Gretzky, Mike Bossy, Bryan Trottier, and others. Unfortunately for Canadian fans, the final game was a blow-out, with Canada losing to the mighty Soviets, 8-1.

Picked it up from the Wrightsville Beach Cache and brought it back to Fayetteville. Gonna get some time with the Fayetteville Fire Ants and then maybe off toward Charlotte. I am traveling to Houston this month and I might just take it down there.

We swear we were not holding it for ransom! It took us awhile to get it back out but we did. And we had hockey fun. I'll get pictures up soon. We left it at Wrightsville Beach. Even though there's not a hockey rink there, it will get picked up by a fan on a visit to the beach.

Well, we found the Team Canada 81 Travel Bug at Bass Lake. We're going to keep it for a couple of days and have some hockey fun. It was a great find for our first time!! :)
