About This Item



This bug started out as a game piece in the New England Capture the Flag Contest. The contest is over, but this bug is continuing it's journey.

Lobster Tales is actually not a lobster. She is a crab. When she was born, her crustacean-challenged owner told her she was a lobster, and later didn't have the heart to tell her the truth. Now poor Lobster Tales, who never fully understood why she looked different than her lobster friends, will go through life thinking she is a lobster. Don't tell her she is a crab - it will only upset her!

Nice to see this one in person. I love lobster, but usually refrain from eating it unless I'm in Maine, so this guy is safe for a while. Wait? Ah, is this a case of mistaken identity? Okay, I won't say it out loud in front of the bug. Where to next? You were near a body of water - more than once actually yesterday, but you had to come home with me.
