Found this in a park while waiting on the wife who was spending my money nearby. Looks like the coin will make a return to IL.
As for 18 - I was finishing high school and since I was a photographer for the 3 years prior it looked like I was going to be a photojournalist. About this time I was getting an ulcer in my first semester at Eastern Illinois University. Now 31 years later I have been teaching high school for 27 years and I am a technology director who is working on rolling out 280 laptops to every student in a small central Illinois high school. May sound like pressure, but I actually live very stress free due to my outlook on life. Life is a circle - I used to play in the woods as a kid, and now I am back there again, but this time with a GPS.

I spent my 18th birthday taking college entrance exams at Colorado State University where I planned to study Occupational Therapy. Now, here I am 27 years later living in Columbia, MO married to a great guy, with an 8 year old son. In fact, I just celebrated my 45th birthday a couple weeks ago. Never anticipated how my life has turned out, better than I ever dreamed it would be. I did complete my degree that I started at 18 and worked as an OT for 17 years before retiring to be a full time momma. Loving my life and my journey thus far!!
