Ant Anthony

Ant Anthony is in search of the perfect place to picnic. He plans to hitchhike across the United States visiting all 50 states, picnicking in famous places along the way. Life as a worker ant was rough. All summer long Ant Anthony would find food, take care of eggs and build tunnels. He dreamed of leaving the colony behind and traveling across the United States. But how could such a small insect accomplish such a huge goal? The other ants would laugh at Anthony and tease him, telling him that his antennae were screwed on backwards. Fortunately, Anthony Ant was never one to let other people "bug" him and bring him down. So, when he heard a rumor that a new cache had been hidden nearby, he knew he had the perfect opportunity to make his move. Through his underground connections, he obtained a TB tag and planned his escape.

He crawled out of the ground early this spring before his other brothers and sisters awoke. With fork and knife in hand, he quickly jumped inside the nearby cache in hopes of finding the perfect place to picnic.

Please help him move along to other caches where he might be able to find a nice picnic spot to enjoy some food with some new friends. He'd love for you to take pictures of your picnic adventures with him as a keepsake. He plans to return someday to his mound and show his colony his great accomplishment!
