Went out hiking with geofriends this morning! Enjoyed the hilly terrain of Fremont Older Open Space Preserve, and then encountered a peacock at Pichetti Ranch OSP. As you'll see in the pictures, the bird cautiously allowed us to at least put Whales Voyage at least within a few feet.

This stone wall -- a tiny remnant of what used to stand here -- reminds me of just how old Fremont Older can be!

Holy orca, this TB has traveled far and wide! So it looks like it's spent quite a bit of time in California, and waaaaaay back when, it previously visited Seattle. In that case, I'm going to take this whale on a side-trip to a part of the US it's never been before. Stay tuned for some adventures and pictures!
