This trackable was started during girls camp in June 2014 by the young women of the LDS Pioneer Ward in Sandy, Utah. The theme for camp was Whoo Am I?
The LDS young women theme talks about 8 values that if acted upon will help us to be happy and successful in life. At camp we discussed these values and how they shape who we are.
One value we discussed is Choice and Accountability. Some of the girl's thoughts on choice and accountability are as follows:
- When reading the Bible and Book of Mormon we can see many examples of people making choices and the result of those choices. We know we are accountable for the things we choose to do, whether good or bad.
- Keeping a daily journal and documenting our goals is a good way to remember to make correct choices.
- Choice and accountability is a foundation of our character and supports all the other Young Women values.
