Destination: Port Charlotte, Florida. Thanks to bedstefader skjule for grabbing a rock for this guy. Now it just has to make its way back home with the cargo!
So I used to live out west in the Rockies. Rocks were friggin everywhere. Now I live in SW Florida and we don't have any rocks. Every now and then you find fossil fragments on the beach. Sometimes people have had rocks shipped in for their yards too, but thats it. If you look at the pavement in the road, you'll see it's made up of shell. Even the 'gravel' roads are made from either shell or crushed concrete. I found myself actually starting to miss rocks.
So I'm sending out for a rock. This bugs mission is first to get to Arizona (a state with many good quality rocks). Once its there, a fellow geocacher should put a nice Arizona rock into the container, tape it back up, re-label it and send it off back to Port Charlotte, FL. Thanks for helping it along!
