Langläufer leben länger

Wir sind im Winter oft mit Langlauf-Skiern unterwegs und starten bei Volksskiläufen - auch bei den größten Skiläufen weltweit. Die größten Läufe sind in der "Wordloppet"-Serie zusammengefasst. Nähere Infos findest Du hier: Worldloppet - The biggest community of cross-country skiers

2024 waren wir im Isergebirge in Tschechien. Leider ist der Lauf "Jizerska Padesatka 50" ausgefallen. Der Veranstalter hatte trotzdem eine Gedenkmünze für uns. Das brachte uns auf die Idee, die Münze auf eine Reise in alle Länder der Wettkampforte der "Worldloppet"-Serie zu schicken.

Der Travel Bug startet am kleinen internationalen Flughafen "Weeze Airport" in der Nähe von Düsseldorf, Germany und soll am Ende auch dahin zurückkehren.

Cross-country skiers live longer

In winter, we are often out and about on cross-country skis and start at popular ski runs - even at the biggest ski races in the world. The biggest runs are grouped together in the "Wordloppet" series. More informations: Worldloppet - The biggest community of cross-country skiers

In 2024 we were in the Jizera Mountains in the Czech Republic. Unfortunately, the "Jizerska Padesatka 50" race has been cancelled. Nevertheless, the organizer had a commemorative coin for us. This gave us the idea to send the coin on a journey to all Countries of the competitions of the "Worldloppet" series.

The Travel Bug starts at the small international airport "Weeze Airport" near Düsseldorf, Germany and should return there at the end.
