About This Item

This Trackable was purchased as a gift to myself both to celebrate my second CITO but also my first year of caching! 21/5/2016 is the first anniversary of my very first cache find so I have activated the coin on that day.
Those who know me will know I am very passionate about the environment especially what we are leaving behind for our children to enjoy that is why I chose this coin, please help it travel and see the world smiley

Discovered It 9/11/2018 Optimist on the run discovered it South West England, United Kingdom   Visit Log

Discovered at a CITO in Gloucester on 29th December last year. Apologies for the extremely late logging of this - thanks for sharing.

Visited 3/16/2018 Monski took it to Path edge trimming at Horsbere Southern England, United Kingdom - 2.65 miles  Visit Log

Out on a beautiful sunny and warm day to clear away the brambles from the fence line and just make things that little bit tidiecut of tear. It was very pleasant sitting in the meadow afterwards soaking in the warmth and enjoying a cup of tea.

Visited 3/10/2018 Monski took it to Magnificent Mulching at Horsbere Southern England, United Kingdom - 1.84 miles  Visit Log

Back to mulching in the new woodland at Horsbere Brook, very pleased to say that we managed to cover all of the trees.

Visited 2/26/2018 Monski took it to Hedging Hustle - Hucclecote Meadows Southern England, United Kingdom - 1.83 miles  Visit Log

Hedge laying this time, it was my first attempt and I think it went quite well! Well it looked like a hedge at the end of it 🙂.

    • Almost in the beginning
    • Still a bit to do
    • Left it nice and tidy
Visited 2/16/2018 Monski took it to Half-term Mulching at Horsbere Brook Southern England, United Kingdom - 2.95 miles  Visit Log

A family friendly mulching CITO, we were set to work putting wood chips at the bottom of the trees we had planted a year ago now. Luckily most seem to have survived the winter, hopefully this mulching will help too.

    • In the beginning a big pile of mulch
    • Mulch piles
    • Proper job
    • More piles
    • We made a dent :)
Visited 2/11/2018 Monski took it to Coppicing at Robinswood Hill Southern England, United Kingdom - .2 miles  Visit Log

Another sun shiny day another CITO 🙂. This time is was coppicing at the top of Robinswood Hill (well close to the top anyway). There was a small elite squad of us today and I got to flex my sawing skills.

Another day another CITO 🙂. This time we were back in Horsbere checking on the trees we'd planted last year. Identifying any dead ones so that we could recycle the deer guards and stakes.

Today we were clearing the bank down from the beacon. This not only involved a very steep climb up a hill but then had to continue that onto the bank.

I think we did a great job and cleared at least a wider path to the beacon and opened up the views for those at the top.
