This Geocoin represents The Geocacher’s Guide to the Center of our Universe also known as the HQ GeoTour, created by employees of Geocaching. Geocaching HQ is located in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle. That makes Fremont the center of our geocaching universe. It just so happens that Fremont is also officially known as the Center of the Known Universe. Coincidence? We think not.
The design on the back of this Geocoin is purposely in reverse and raised such that you can use it like you would a rubber stamp. Get an ink pad and make your imprints.

When we visited Geocaching HQ in September 2014, I was looking around in their extensive collection of geocoins for sale. Geocoins are neat, but one in particular really caught my eye in a "oooooo shiny!" sort of way. So I bought it but had no intention of ever putting it out in the wild.
Then I came across a few trackables that were in ink-stamp form and decided to go that route with it! I'll be putting the stamp on Pathtag mailings and other random mail. I've added a picture of the actual coin - it's so pretty!
If you're traveling close by, I definitely recommend a visit to Geocaching HQ. You have to contact them in advance, so make sure to do that. We had a GREAT time walking around the Fremont area doing the HQ GeoTour. Make sure to get some frozen custard nearby - so delicious!
