This Cache takes you into the lost forest. Once a thriving conservation area with the Long Point Conservation Authority... it has since faded into the hands of history. As you wander towards the Cache - you will see the neglected signs referring to the plant life and as you find your way across the battered boardwalk... you will notice the neglect this conservation area has been left In. I grew up in Delhi and had no idea that this boardwalk existed until today when I was about to leave the cache on the outskirts of the parking lot that so many years ago thought - was just a parking lot in the middle of no-where. As I was preparing to place the cache in the parking area a neibour came in to see if there was garbage dumped in the area. We started chatting about the area and he informed me of what it really was - A neglected conservation area... and he told me about the boardwalk and the huge tree that rules the forest. We both agreed that placing a cache in the woods may attract more people to the neglected area and may be cause for restoration of the boardwalk and trails. Continue on your journey to the cache... and these wonders shall be exposed to you. Please be cautious as the boardwalk is still crooked but still sturdy.. but missing some planks of wood.
