Welcome to the June Two Cache.
The cache is in an ammo can on PIP property.
There are many fine caches in Doodletown and from my experience if there is a block of caches they will come.
The cache is located near the second June cemetery on PIP property. The cemetery property itself is still private property and was not acquired by the Palisades Park Commission, PIP; it remains a private operating cemetery.
Please re-hide this cache as you found it, or better. This is a busy place during the summer!
Park at on of the lots, more like pull offs for Iona Island and head up Gray’s Hill into Doodletown. From there you’re on your own to explore and enjoy the pioneer hamlet.
Now there are many site markers at the significant locations so you have sort of a guided tour.
Don’t forget your binoculars and food. You can spend a ton of time here and there are some great birding areas by Doodletown reservoir.
