According to religious tradition, there are 7 Archangels or "Guardian" angels. Sealtiel is the third cache placed in the series based on these seven angels.
Sealtiel, or sometimes called “Selaphiel”, is the angel of contemplation and worship, that is why he is also known as “Archangel of Adoration.” Although not mentioned in the Bible by name, it is believed that Sealtiel was the angel who stopped Abraham from killing his son Isaac as a sacrifice as recorded in the book of Genesis. It is said he leads us away from doing wrong. He is usually depicted as holding incense and kneeling (See background picture).
Each of the 8 Guardian Angel caches will be located on a guardrail (thus the name “GUARDian Angels) somewhere near the Union, Washington, St. Clair area. Each one of the first seven angel caches in the series contains a gold number inside which you will need to write down, along with the corresponding angel name, in order to solve the final "Celestial City" location, the 8th and final cache in this series which will be hopefully published on Christmas day (or very soon after).
Hopefully this series will add a little fun to the general dislike of guardrail caches!
There is safe parking directly in front of the cache and this one is wheelchair accessible. Please BYOP!
