This cache is placed in the front yard of the old Carvey-Gatfield House. Circa 1805. This is now the home of my son and his family, and permission has been given to place it and all cachers are welcome.
There is parking along side Mine Hill road or better parking is at the end of the big red barn with no street crossing.
I want to thank PANDA77 In Wickenburg, Arizona, who created this fine piece of metal art. This was the first of a series of Have A Leaner (GC110HG) that was placed in the dessert around Wickenburg.
Javelina:
Though some people think javelinas are a type of wild pig, they are actually members of the peccary family, a group of hoofed mammals originating from South America. Javelinas are common in much of central and southern Arizona.
