An easy hike and an easy find. This cache was placed with the help of our son's tiger cub scout den. The original items are items a scout may need on a hike in the woods as well as a few other trinkets.
We also placed a scout themed trackable. Enjoy.
Be careful. There is some barbed wire in the area of this cache that is not easily seen. Some is close to the ground. Be careful where you step.
This cache is located within the Huron Meadows Metropark. A Metroparks permit is required: $5 daily pass, $25 annual pass, $15 Seniors. Check the Metroparks website for park hours.
The best place to park is the Sunset Ridge picnic area. The cache is an easy hike from there. There are many other caches within the park. Bring lunch and make a day of it.
