Another cache along the bike path between Haverstraw and Nyack. The path is about 5 ½ miles along the shore of the Hudson River. For the most part the trail is gently rolling and offers a lot of great views of the river. Along the way you can see the remains of quarries and some old park buildings. Parking for the trail can be found in Haverstraw, at Rockland Lake and in Nyack. Parking in Nyack may involve a seasonal fee. Since the cliffs of the palisades are so close there was a lot of signal bounce. I averaged the coordinates over 100 times but I’ve still provided a very specific clue to help in your search. The cache is a lock and lock and is only accessible during daylight hours.
