Geocache Description:

Parking at Lake car park about 5 minutes walk away. Cache is off the path and not wheelchair accessible. Park closing times vary throughout the year so please check before attempting cache in the evening. http://www.heatonpark.org.uk/HeatonPark/System/Footer/Opening_Times/

Heaton Park is Europe's largest municipal park and has a lot of activities such as the boating lake, golf course and farm centre. The cache is near an interesting part of Manchester's history, which has been moved here from its original location. The boating lake nearby was excavated by hand!
Cache is a small ammo box containing log book, pencil and sharpener, Mare & Foal Sanctuary and RNLI pin badges as these are charities we support, a couple of plastic toys and a special present for the first person to find it. Please use stealth and place back exactly as found. Thanks!
