gc2311f ~ view of c-on-h Traditional Cache
brian b: The girls and I hiked in and retrieved this cache. This is the second cache that I've placed at this overlook, and I suppose I'll put another one out soon enough.

This is the site of a previous cace of mine, Stillman's Vista II, Storm King's Version. The original cache page read as follows:
"Another vista courtesy of the Stillman Trail; this time, near the Mountain Road trailhead on Storm King Mountain. This is a nice, easy hike, especially if you can find the parking area on Mountain Road (between 9W and Rt. 218) at N 41 25.941 W 074 00.722 at the rock gate. Follow the Stillman Trail (yellow blazes) along the road, being sure to make the left just past the bridge to the first viewpoint. You'll have a very nice view of the village of Cornwall-on-the-Hudson as well as several of the railroad bridges. The cache, as are all of mine, is in an ammo can."
I archived this cache on June 5, 2004 because of NYS's new permit policy. That was nearly 6 years ago, and I have since relinquished my negativity towards the permit system.
This cache was hidden on a sunny day in January, with my 9 (almost 10, as she'll tell you) daughter. The walk to the top was quite treacherous, with all the blue ice cover.
This cache has NYS Permit No. 1-10 (expiration date 2-12)
