Bunched up in an area with many other geocaches, this one stands
out as the first to be placed in Tallman Mountain State Park and
one of the oldest in the area. Mainly level hiking trails but
hiking boots are recommended.
This is another geocache located in one of the numerous parks
bordering the Hudson River. This park has many picnic table areas
and is ideal to go geocaching with your dog or cycle. The State
Park entrance can be found at N41 01.627 W073.55.145 off Route 9W.
There are a couple of parking areas you can park. There is a $6 fee
to park in the summer until Columbus Day. The cache is not far off
the trail so you don't have to bushwack. Use the Green/Blue trail
most of the time with other unmarked trails if needed. It is the
trail closest to the stream and just off the pool road. Trails go
North/South with many splendid views of the River. Check the
