This Cemetery was started about 1840 so it is over 170 years old. It is still an active cemetery,It has 4 veterans in it 1 - from the American Revolution, 3 from the civil war and 1 from WW 1 This cache is in memory of my 4 great Grandfathers that are buried here,All 4 were born, lived,And died only a few miles from this spot, Great Grandpa AUGUSTUS LENT 1872 - 1939 / 2nd Great Grandpa ALFRED LENT 1836 -1895 / 3rd Great Grandpa JACOB LENT 1793 - 1865 / 4 th Great grandpa JACOB LENT 1754 - 1841. 4 th Great Grandpa JACOB LENT was a PVT CONTINENTAL LINE During the Revolution and served 22 months between here and Tappan. THERE IS NO NEED TO ENTER THE CEMETERY TO FIND THE CACHE, BUT IF YOU LIKE YOU ARE WELCOME TO VISIT
