Welcome to the ACM. Automated Cache Machine. This abandoned RR bed stretches 5 miles from Chester to Washingtonville. Along it's line you will be introduced to many different terrain types and scenes of natural beauty. No two caches are exactly the same. All the hiding spots are diverse and offer a picture of our little corner of Orange County.
There is parking at either end and it is an easy walk. If you are low on finds hit the ACM.
Goex and SusieW50 have done a wonderful job with this trail. Dawg32, MisDirections21 and I were out to hit the caches on the trail, but noticed at this point we were just too far away from the next cache machine.
I had the cache, MisDirection21 named it, and Dawg32 found the perfect spot. And though we appreciate the fact this trail didn't have any 35mm cans, we felt one was ok.
