This cache provides an opportunity to visit a unique Norman Church serving the village of Cassington. Originally built in 1123, the church was altered in the 14th century but retains much of its ancient charm. The stained glass was added in the 18th century. Go inside (open during daytime hours) to see very old pews, probably from the 14th or 15th century.
The cache is outside the building, camouflaged and held in its place with a small magnet. Bring your own pen to sign the log. Please screw the lid on tightly.
