In a small town called Drazice nad Jizerou there is ruin of a castle built by bishop Jan z Drazic around 1329. In the ruins of castle church there are remains of wall paintings. The ruin offers a nice view to the Jizera river lowland with forests, which were used as the headquarters of occupying soviet army in the near past. Today the forrests are widely known as mushroom harvesters' paradise.
Because of recently placed tables prohibiting the usual access, I recommend to use the small rear path from the road (see waypoint)
