Located in La Crescenta, in the Verdugo hills. A short, easy hike. Much of it is shaded.
I introduced my father to geocaching, so he was itching to plant a cache of his own.
The trail is short, and shaded at the begining, but opens to a great view of La Crescenta. Due to the high traffic on the trail, I put the cache up an embankment to hide it better. So the last 30 feet is hardest, and a bit slippery. Be careful not to get poked by the yucca.
Parking: The trail begins at the end of Cedarbend Drive. You drive down Boston, turn left on El Lado, right on Forestglen, and right on Cedarbend. Park where it dead ends, and follow the path through the oak trees.
