This cache will involve a bit of research or luck to accomplish, as
any church buildings such as the many cathederals that open their
towers regularly as tourist attractions are disqualified as they
are too easy!
To score this cache, you have, by legal and safe means, to get a
picture of the view, and a GPS reading including height from the
top of a church tower.
Many of them open occasionally for church fete's, or in the case
of the church close to one of my other caches, on the weekend
closest to St James day. So you might like to look in local
newspapers, or on parish notice boards for information.
As there have been accusations that some of the past logs have
cheated and not followed the rules, to reiterate:
1: It must be a tower, church, mosque minaret or whatever
that is NOT USUALLY OPEN to the public. For example, St
Pauls Cathedral in London, or the Empire State Building wouldn't
count as anyone can pay to get in, almost any day of the year.
2: An occasional open place is allowed. (A few times in a
year for example.)
3: You have to have obtained legal access, no breaking
in. In future you'll need to provide a bit of detail of how you got
access!
4: A particular tower can be logged more than once, but a
particular Geocacher can only score one find against this
cache.
