I enjoyed this one, but I think I rate it higher because I was FTF and left my newborn son at home for the first time to get this one and get some fresh air.

A challenge

Another cache I DNF'd on the first visit.  Found it on the 2nd.  Don't ruin the hunt by getting a hint.  Awesome find when you do this one cluelessly.

I DNF'd this 3 times before finding it.  Go without knowing anything about the cache - no hint, no phone a friend, no nothing - just give it a shot and see if you can find it "cleanly."

Can't Buy Me Love (Unless You Pay With Cache)

The first cache find of this type for me.  Took a few minutes, but I found it without help or clues.  I've since seen it done in other places, but this is the first and my favorite due to the name & location.

Frankenstein

I only log virts 'cause they're there.  This one, not entirely far from home, was awesome.  Never knew of the park nor the feature.  For a Virt, awesome!

HLG Pothole

6 stages, 2.25 mile walk, moderate bushwhacking, numerous log-based river crossings.  Never "strenous" just very enjoyable.  1.5 hours for us from entrance to exit.

In Them Woods, Thar Be Giants!

We've all wanted to make a cache like this, headache actually did it.  Excellent hide!

A very cool cache, again one I DNF'd the first time.  Be very careful, parking and getting to the cache site from the Turnpike is extremely dangerous.  Great place, great story, interesting hide.

PA Turnpike Cachette #3

Great hike, great area, neat terrain.  Excellent hide.

Reservoir Dogs #11: National Trails Day 2004

Ludington State Park has a few decent caches worth your time, but this is far and away the best!  Longish hike through sand dunes with overgrowth.  Awesome time, awesome location and neat hide.  Highly recommended!

Seven Island Kids Cache

Not a spectacular cache in and of itself by any means.  But next door to Cabella's and the cache I have visited the most to exchange travel bugs.

Tamarack Cache

As a cache, this is an excellent hide.  The first stage is one of the best first stages for a puzzle-type cache I have ever done!  The second stage requires a bit of mental and physical work too.  For a cemetary cache, like the Spirit Quest series and the one across the street from this one, it is absolute tops!
