you want to be on an isolated beach, here's the spot.  you will have to wade over to get this one, take your shoes.

Up above Lake Hollywood with a nice view of the Hollywood sign. Take a walk as far around the resivoir as you can go.

This cache is the most visited in the area by far.  also the most muggled.  You'll see why when you get there. On most days, especially when it is warm, it is a true melting pot of humanity.  One of the best people watching areas in the world.

a beautiful urban lake (resivoir) take a long walk around it.

A view point off of the 5 freeway south of San Clemente adjacent to the Camp Pendleton marine Corp training area.  In season, there are a bazillion little critters, all docile and hungry.

the nightlife, especially at Hinano's .....the walks along the pier at sunset.  what's not to like?!

we enjoy this fishing village....so much so we are thinking of moving there and running a sports and arts camp for tourists and locals alike.

If you want to finish the series, you have to get 'em all.  This is a tough one.  dying village being bypassed by a new road.  nice bay that no one comes to any more.

a spot where, in season, dust devils are as tall as buildings.

a lovely arts village north or cabo san lucas.  when the partying gets to be a bit much, try this.

generally a nice sleepy fishing village.  great food, good bars.  we feel at home here.

We lived on this paseo for several years before being forced out by bad neighbors and a lousy landlord and management service.  We loved this area.  Hope you do too.
