El Nombre Woods Traditional Cache

The cache is hidden in a small wooded area a couple of miles N.N.E. of St Helier. It is known to us as El Nombre Woods because of a rope that was attached to one of the trees, on which the children used to swing like the masked rodent hero, El Nombre.

There is parking for a couple of cars beside the road at the entrance to the woods (La Commune - N 49°12.839' W 002°05.167'). To get there by bus, take the No. 21 to Victoria Village.

GPS coverage in the woods is, like the curates egg, good in parts.

The cache is a medium-sized tupperware box, 8"x6"x3", containing the usual swaps and a highly-desirable (!) FTF trophy.

Some of the paths have steps, so this cache is not suitable for pushchairs.
