Easy walking on grass, sidewalk or paved path
OVERLOOKING THE OBVIOUS
In riding around Houston on my bicycle, I am often struck by some obvious feature that I have overlooked for years. Suddenly something appears that has always been there but has never been noticed. There is a path between two cities that I had ridden past many times. One day a man stopped me while I was riding to talk about bicycles. He told me about this path and how to find it. It has proved very useful in cycling around town. This, it seemed, was a perfect place for a cache. Borrowing from an idea in Las Vegas by targetdrone, I hope this cache will be obvious but not too easy to find.
Parking is available on a side street several hundred feet to the west. Access from one side is easy. The other side requires a long walk to reach the path. It is an easy bicycle ride from any direction but watch the traffic. The log is small so write small. Bring your own pencil. The only trade items are small stickers – flags, flowers, animals. It is wheelchair accessible but the nearest paved access parking is a long way off. Should my wonderful construction self destruct on you, please put the pieces back together as best as possible. Let me know and I will fix it.
