Dagobah System Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

LostBoy1: Its time for me to archive many of my caches. I have left the area for military service and haven't really found other motivated cachers to help with the maintenance of many of my caches. Thus its better to close this chapter. So this is the end to an era, it has been fun and thank you to everyone who has found my caches.

This cache I could see has not been found in a while.. I found after some searching and using my Jedi cache senses. It had moved from the actual spot and it is evident that many tress had fallen due to soil conditions, This ammo can was under a fallen tree. I had just seen the corner of it and the rest was buried. If i was one step to the left or right I would miss it.

UPDATE: APRIL 2018
Ahoy Fellow Cachers!!!
After an almost 6 year overseas military tour I am returning to my original stomping grounds to visit my family before I move onto another part of the world and my new overseas assignment. While in the area I will be visiting some of my old caches and removing the contents and archiving the listings. This will be happening around the last week of June/ first week of July 2018.
This cache has been chosen for Archive. If you have not found it/ claimed credit for it yet you have a limited time to do so.
I will not be co-owning any more caches and will be removing everything I can find in the area and opening up the geographical territory for new caches from other users that can maintain the site. I would like to thank all who have participated and thank you for all the nice logs and memories. Hope to see you on the trails again in the future.

A distant, mist-shrouded swamp planet, Dagobah does not appear in any modern starcharts. It is a forgotten world, and it was the home of the last remaining Jedi Master and Council member from the waning days of the Republic.
The planet is covered in gnarled trees and fetid swamps. Huge lagoons are home to fearsome snakes and other creatures that swim in the murky waters. Leathery-winged avians take to the fog-filled skies. Though the planet has no signs of technology, its life form readings register as massive.

Following the scourge of the Jedi Geocacher by the emergent Empire, the Jedi Master Yoda fled to Dagobah aboard an escape pod and went into hiding. A world plagued with overgrown jungles, creatures, and constant rain, it was a perfect place to hide. Few would ever come to such a planet willingly.

The young Jedi/geocacher would of journeyed to the bog planet, prompted by a message delivered by the spectral image of his late master, Obi-Wan Kenobi. Though the Geocacher lacked the navigation data to journey to Dagobah, he was able to puzzle its location through the Force.

Upon arrival in the upper atmosphere of the planet, the Geocachers X-wing starfighter was buffeted by strong winds and fierce electrical storms. His/her instrumentation died, and they crashed into the swamps. Perhaps it was a natural phenomenon. Perhaps Yoda coaxed the storm from the skies. Either way, Skywalker/ the geocacher had landed close to Yoda's simple mud hut, and soon began his training.

The constant rains and teeming wildlife made Skywalker's grueling training all the more arduous. A vision of his friends in pain prompted Luke to abandon his training, and he left Dagobah. He would return months later, to discover an ailing Yoda and to learn more about his destiny as the son of Anakin Skywalker.

Your mission is to find DagoBah and claim it as a cache. as you will find that the forest ahead is full of Jedi/Geocacher mind tricks.

This location is Yodas Hut, and on the edge of Cranberry pond. Yoda likes to have company so leave your TB's and coins. PLEASE LEAVE TRACKABLES!

I AM CURRENTLY STATIONED OVERSEAS IN THE MILITARY. I HAVE TRIED TO FIND PEOPLE TO CO-OWN MY CACHES AND HELP WITH THE MAINTENANCE, HOWEVER HAVE HAD NO LUCK.

IF YOU SEEK MY CACHE AND PROVIDE SOME CACHE MAINTENANCE PLEASE PROVIDE PHOTOS AND DETAILS AS TO WHAT YOU HAVE DONE IN YOUR POST. SEND ME A PERSONAL MESSAGE AND WE CAN EXCHANGE SOME INFORMATION AND I WILL SEND YOU A COIN AND OTHER GEO-GOODIES AS A TOKEN OF MY APPRECIATION FOR YOUR HELP.
