Update 6/2013: Per recent logs, there is now well-cut trail coming in from the south (Washburn), with orange blazes. The cut trail does not fully connect to Oakridge (let me know if that has changed). The waypoints may or may not help at this point.
Original cache description:
This cache is placed in a beautiful spot along a new unmapped trail that connects the Oakridge and Washburn equestrian/hiking areas. Finding the connector trail from either end is fairly difficult. The waypoints below help you find the trail. The word on the street (trail?) is that this trail has been marked/blazed/flagged for a while, but it was just cleared in June 2006. It's already getting a bit overgrown and hard to follow in some areas. But with the blazes (orange and red) and the cleared trail, it's fairly easy to follow once you are on it.
The cache can be accessed from either Washburn or Oakridge, but the Oakridge approach is a tad shorter from parking, and finding the trail is easier on this end. While you are out there, walk the entire length of this trail just to see where it goes. There are caches that are not far from each end of this trail.
Although the trail is heavily blazed in some areas, I didn't see any blazes or flagging at either end of the trail.
Areas along this trail will be wet some times of the year. When the cache was placed, the Oakridge approach was dry. Approaching the cache from Washburn approach required crossing one small waterway, but there are logs to cross on.
Thanks to 2ndoer and Duracell for calling my attention to this trail.
