Our first cache! An event cache. We have run into a few fellow
cachers over the last couple of months. It was such a pleasure to
meet them we decided to organize an informal event. Coords are for
the gazebo within the park where we will meet. Coords for the
parking lot are N33 59.743 N117 45.396.
The park is a lovely park and may have an active cache in it.
When Sarah was tiny she called it "the duck park" as the park has a
beautiful pond and certain times of year bring loads of ducks.
(What is the collective noun for a group of ducks anyway??)
We have reserved the gazebo from 4:30PM-7PM ON SATURDAY OCTOBER
7TH, 2006. In all likelihood we can hang as long as we want. Kudos
to BarbiQ62 for reserving the gazebo for us. We are Chino residents
but really wanted this park!
Plan on eating dinner. Bring something to grill a side-dish to
share and bev's. I (Scott) will have mesquite charcoal hot and
ready for your grilling pleasure (even veg's love mesquite grilled
veggie bobs!). Don't forget something to eat on/with!
We hope to meet all you folks that we read about, see your
caches and enjoy your logs. Come one, come all and especially bring
the kids. There is a terrific playground and the potty is near
too!
