This cache has been archived.

Super_Nate: The link for the CodeMaster has been broken. Upon farther investigation, I found the CodeMaster is no longer. As a result, I am going to take this one down and open the location for a new cache. Thank you all who came and visited....it was a lot of fun.

Introducing the CodeMaster!

Welcome to yet another brain teaser brought to you exclusively by Super_Nate of Chatt-town! In this challanging feat, you will have to decode the following information in caps by method of copy & paste onto The CodeMaster. Sounds easy....doesn't it?

Well, the hitch in this whole operation comes when the Master askes for the four-digit number...hence where the ACTUAL puzzle for this cache comes into play.

Their is only one correct four-digit code into the masters system that will let you enter the correct room with the correct cache coordinates in it.

Here are the directions for play:

You will have to look up a few very popular 5-digit codes. These codes are popular on Geocaching as they are what you type in the system to come up with caches in a search area. These codes are refered to as zip codes, and we have a unique code for every mailing city in the United States. If you want to learn more about zip codes, then visit this site.

You will work with zip codes to unlock the mystery code that you will use to decode the words in orange. With that said, the following information will have 5 cities for 1 digit of the 4-digit number. You will need to look up the zip codes for those 5 cities, and the number that is common for those 5 zip codes is the number to plug into the 4-digit number.
  • First Digit:
    Kinross MI
    Readyville TN
    Arlington TX
    Van Buren ME
    Hereford CO

  • Second Digit:
    Kerby OR
    Mantee MS
    Colorado Springs CO
    Rochester NY
    Witt IL

  • Third Digit
    Schenectady NY
    Columbus OH
    Gibson Island MD
    Unicoi TN
    Fort Covington NY

  • Fourth Digit:
    Thomson GA
    El Sobrante CA
    Point Pleasant Beach NJ
    Fletcher OK
    Fords Branch KY

Please do not hunt this cache at night, and keep a watch out for the mugglers who will be watching you as you are tromping through the thorns.
