Geocache Description:

A quick and easy Kids and Family-friendly cache, in the 2,600-acre Crow-Hassan Park Reserve!

Cache Details

This cache is hidden near the main parking lot of the Crow-Hassan Park Reserve. It's on the "other" trail, away from the rest of the caches here, but it will take you to a spot with a nice view of the colorful and ever-changing 600-acre restored prairie.
Location, Parking, and Access

If you're not familiar with Crow-Hassan, the main park entrance is at N 45° 10.999 W 093° 37.467, directly off County Road 203. Follow the road all the way back, and you can park directly adjacent to the North trailhead at N 45° 11.131 W 093° 37.793. Because this is a shared horse and hiking trail, we highly recommend that you watch your feet as well as the scenery, or you're likely to step in something you'll regret later. :)

This cache was hidden with the help of my oldest daughter Mei-Mei. Three Rivers Park regulations greatly restrict the number of potential hiding spots, but we knew we had to put a cache here because we loved the fall colors along the trail, and we thought the prairie view from here was pretty nice.

You're looking for a winter-friendly plastic peanut butter jar, wrapped in camo'd duct tape. It starts out stuffed to the brim with small toys, hand-selected by the 'Noles kidlets from their own personal collection. As always, have fun and happy hunting!
