Cache is dedicated to fellow geocacher and favorite snowboard partner, uneautrefille. Designed primarily as a ski season cache, it does have year-round access, or until snow levels exceed 120 inches. Check here for current snow levels: (visit link)
The cache is located in a small meadow where I first learned to push snow around with a Snow-Cat groomer. At least one wintertime wedding has been held there, complete with hay bale pulpit for the minister. In summertime, the little pond that forms in the middle of the meadow teams with a thousand salamander tadpoles. Just below the cache are Grace Lakes, where you just might catch a little brook trout or two. A worthwhile destination in any season. Uneautrefille, let's go snowboarding.
