This cache has been archived.

Cluemasterz: This was our first family cache placed and we enjoyed the logs. But due to muggle factor, we have decided to archive.
Thanks to all that found this in the past.

Geocache Description:

The Red Run Creek, a branch of the Clinton River was the means that the early pioneers followed by canoe. The Red Run Creek provided the pathway that the Moravian Trail (a 23.5 mile wagon road built in 1785 by the Moravian Missionaries and local Native Americans) followed to reach the interior to settle and homestead. At the time, this territory was nothing but a marsh and the Red Run Creek and other similar waterways provided the drain outlets to dry the land and open the area for forestry and farming.

In 2003 the city built a brand new community center at the site of the old warren high school. It has an auditorium, Miller Library, lap pool, indoor aquatic play structure, waterslide, and several gyms. In 2006, the warren community center was voted 'The best community/recreation center in Michigan.'

Where you park will determine the amount of Walk required. Use the Walk path near the Red Run to avoid the suspicious muggles. There is room for swag/toys and Travel Bugs, but please help keep the snails out. Another cache is located in this park.

Congratulations to DarrylW4 and Firefly03 for the FTF, with Teamlegend4 arriving second.
