Geocache Description:

A 2-stage multi-cache - starts in Palmer Park as a micro, ends just outside the park as a small cache. Yous should be able to do both parts from Palmer Park , or drive the long way around.

To claim this find, just like any other multi-cache, you must find and sign the log at the final waypoint.
If you claim this find without logging the second waypoint, your online log can and will be deleted if it is not corrected to a write-note or removed in a timely manner

This hide started as part of Witz-Pedition-3 in Palmer Park on 8/30/2006. As of 9/9/2006, it is now a multi-cache.

The teams thinned out as the sun grew lower in the sky. But there were 2 members left to hide a cache. We had discovered the 'leaf' cache not too far away. We checked the printed map I had along, and saw there was lots of space that seemed unclaimed going from the same dirt parking lot, but down the hill in the other direction. NurseGirl and I tried to hide the final in the park, but due to Park Dept. rules, it became a multi-cache. The first stage was replaced with a micro-cache/clue to the final. PLEASE OPEN THE MICRO VERY CAREFULLY! I populated the micro with a large number of take-along waypoints to the next cache (I liked what I found in PD's on the Rocks).

Long pants recomended in these areas :)

Final is a recycled plastic peanut container - it has camo-tape on most of it - except for a clear bottom - that way there is no question it is a geocache. :)

It is about 1/2mi hike from the micro to the final.

The tradition lives on with another Witz-Pedition Cache!
