PLEASE for your safety respect the signs in the area. South of the road (trail) is a "Rifle Range Impact Area" you will see the signs.
This Cache is meant to be pretty easy. It is an Ammo Box in the woods.
I’m, surprised that there aren’t any caches in this wooded area. It’s a perfect place, so I decided to be the first. This area has intrigued me ever since I saw it on a map (and satellite imagery).
The old road (and trail) pretty much goes all the way around the SWAMP and it’s a big SWAMP (it might even be a lake). I’ve never seen it named on a map and have been curious about it. If anybody knows anything about it, I’d be happy to hear from you.
The coordinates should give you a pretty good idea about which way to go from the parking area (see update below). You do NOT have to bushwack at all. Give you GPS plenty of time to settle - tree cover is bad at the cache site. The hint will get you where you need to be though. Spoiler pictures are available for the asking (after a FTF).
Round trip is very close to 1 mile.

Update - more information:
The land that the cache is on is State School Lands - not privately owned - and there is no need to enter private property in finding this cache. Looking toward the gate, the left side (the west side) of the road/trail has private land (you will see houses).
