Geocache Description:

HEAR YE!! HEAR YE!! Come on out and say goodbye to summer and hello to fall. Join the Geocachers Of The Central Harrisburg Area as we get together to celebrate anything and everything. You don't have to be a GOTCHA member to help us celebrate.

The coords will take you to The Fernlawn Pavillion in Lower Allen Township Park. This park is 110 acres of non-stop fun........horseshoes, basketball, driving range, soccer, softball/kickball/wiffleball, tennis, fishing, sand volleyball in addition to a huge funfort for the kids. Plus, plenty of trails for hiking/biking and, of course, caching. Dogs are allowed....most areas in the park require them to be leashed but there is a couple of fenced in areas that they can run and play with their dog friends. The days events will start at 10am and go till the last cacher is standing. Lunch will start at 12noon with dogs, buns and condiments being provided. If you would like some type of meat, besides dogs, please bring it along. There should be plenty of room on the grill!! Please plan to bring something to share with the rest of the crew.....email me with your specifics and I'll post the list here as it comes in.

There should be plenty of caches to find in the park (they will published the day of with info provided at the picnic) as well as the surrounding area. The number of active hiders in the general vicinity provide adventure for anyone's fancy. NO CACHER LEFT BEHIND!!

There will also be "gifts" and prizes throughout the day awarded in several different categories that will be revealed during the day's activities. Please post a note if you plan on coming so plans can be made accordingly. There are going to be several companies supporting this event. Please support the event by supporting these companies.

*UPDATE* *UPDATE* I have recieved several packages from the above companies so there will be plenty of quality swag to be given away including GeoCoins, pins, lanyards and just about anything else you can think of. The "swag" will include a GPS unit that Magellan has generously donated.
