A Honey of a Cache Traditional Cache
wowieann: This many DNF's on an ammo can cache can only mean one thing, I'm afraid. I really hate to see this one go. Thanks to all that came out and found it!

When I was doing the "Hermit's Quest For Gold" (a caching game at thecachingplace.com) I had the hardest time finding a cache that met the "Milk and Honey" requirement. As it turns out, it wasn't -too- difficult to find a cache near a cow pasture (which also met the requirement), but most cache descriptions don't advertise being near such, so it was kind of a hit-or-miss thing.
Anyway, I was stung by how few honey and/or bee-related caches were nearby, so I decided to remedy that for future "Hermit's Quest" participants. (As of the date of this cache hide, there are only 479 finishers - it's still possible, if you haven't already done so - to finish in the top 500, and have a shot at getting a prize coin!)
Now, myself, I hate bees. I've never been stung by one, but now that I'm caching I figure it's only a matter of time. :( This, then, will be my tribute to the bee-gods in the hopes that they'll keep their followers far, far away from me!
Included in the cache you'll find lots of bee-related swag, amassed over a couple of months (I tend to pick up bee things, as I see them, for a friend that loves them as much as I hate them). If you take a bee item, please try to leave a bee item in trade. If that's not possible, perhaps you could contribute something yellow or black?
Also included in the cache is a FTF pin in the shape of an ammo can, which is neither bee-related, nor yellow/black, but I don't guess that matters, as I don't expect it will bee in there very long. :)
